In our program, technology and people go hand in hand: we focus not only on the tools, but above all on you—the owner and leader who becomes the center of digitalization in your company.

EDIH – European Digital Innovation Hub, are European Digital Innovation Centres that support companies and public institutions in the effective implementation of modern technologies.

The EDIH programme is an initiative of the European Commission implemented under the Digital Europe Programme., whose main goal is supporting the digital transformation of the European economy and society. In Poland, EDIH focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as they are the foundation economy, and at the same time, they most often need support in accessing modern technologies and digital competences, the implementation of which can be challenging for them. WAMA EDIH is a project aimed at increasing the competitiveness of SMEs by supporting entrepreneurs in the digital transformation process.

That's why WAMA EDIH offers

  • analysis digital maturity companies,
  • advice on the implementation of the latest digital solutions,
  • coaching supporting entrepreneurs in managing technological change.

Thanks to the EDIH program, SME entrepreneurs can

  • look strategically at digitization your company,
  • define the approach and readiness for change,
  • obtain assessment of the company's digital maturity,
  • take the first concrete steps decisions,
  • take care of yourself and your employees in the digitalization process reducing resistance and stress related to introducing change.

Who can join the EDIH program (*)?

The EDIH program is dedicated for SME owners, who:

  • are open to development, but feel overwhelmed by the excess of information and options,
  • want to make the right decisions regarding technology implementation,
  • they know that new technologies can be an opportunity, but they don't know where to start,
  • want to develop themselves and their team in a conscious and structured way.

Does my company qualify as an SME?

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) They are the backbone of the economy. To check if your company falls into this category, it's worth considering three key criteria:

  1. number of employees
  • Micro-enterprise – less than 10 employees
  • Small business – from 10 to 49 employees
  • Medium enterprise – from 50 to 249 employees
  1. Annual turnover or balance sheet total
  • Micro-enterprise – up to EUR 2 million
  • Small business – up to EUR 10 million
  • Medium enterprise – up to EUR 50 million in turnover or up to EUR 43 million
    balance sheet total
  1. Company independence
    To qualify as an SME, a company cannot be owned more than 25% by an entity that does not itself meet the SME criteria. Exceptions include universities, public institutions, and funds. venture capitalIn summary: if your company falls within the above framework, you can benefit from programs and support dedicated to the SME sector.

Program structure
The program is based on two complementary modules:

Digital Innovation Health Check

  • comprehensive digital maturity assessment The company's strengths and areas requiring strengthening are identified to effectively implement new technologies tailored to the specific business model.
  •  Analyze company innovation, which will allow you to assess your readiness to introduce new technological solutions. It will also help you determine how your company can best leverage innovation to increase its competitiveness in the market.

Digital Leadership Mapping (DLM) / Executive Coaching

  • Two Executive Coaching sessions for entrepreneurs that allow prepare for change technological and effective implementation of new digital tools.
  • DLM supports making informed decisions, creating business strategies and building readiness for digital transformation.
  • Executive Coaching is tailored to the specifics of a given company, its current needs and responds to real problems and goals.

Additional support
In addition to the main program modules, participants receive additional support tailored to the current needs of the companywhich helps to effectively implement changes, develop team competences and increase the efficiency of operations

  • Help in finding digital solution providers: List of technology partners/suppliers that will best meet your individual needs.
  • Expert knowledge: The program is led by experts and scientists from DELab University of Warsaw and Enterprise Europe Network.
  • Additional individual coaching support: After completing the program, additional individual coaching support is available.

Thanks to the funding of the program by the European Commission under de minimis aid, support, analysis and coaching are available at no additional cost to your business.

De minimis aid This is a special type of support for entrepreneurs that does not require approval from the European Commission. This makes it a quick and easily accessible way to finance projects such as training, investments, and tax relief.

The European Union generally limits the provision of public aid to protect free market principles. The exception is de minimis aid – regulated by European Commission Regulation 2023/2831 – which allows for the implementation of important projects without complex procedures.

Participation in the WAMA EDIH by DELab UW program is completely free.

Certificates, reports and confirmation of competence

The certificate is not only a formal document but also a prestigious element building the company's brand and market leadership position.

    regarding the integrated assessment of innovation processes and digital readiness, which supports strategic decision-making
    decisions and the company's digitalization process:
    • gives a clear picture of the company's situation in the context of digitalization and innovation,
    • indicates key areas for development and the next steps in digital transformation,
    • enables better preparation for the implementation of new technologies and the optimization of business processes,
    • is a tool that increases the company's competitiveness and supports the building of a strong, modern brand on the market.

Digital Leadership Mapping

What is Digital Leadership Mapping/DLM:
DLM, i.e. Digital Leadership Mapping it's a form Executive Coaching Aimed at entrepreneurs participating in the WAMA EDIH program, this is a mandatory element of the WAMA EDIH program, which provides practical and personalized support for entrepreneurs in their digital transformation process.
That's it individual work 1:1 with an experienced business coach, focused solely on the company, its needs, and the specific challenges of digitalization. This is not a toolbox training or a theoretical lecture.

Why?
Digitalization is not only about technologies – it is also people, processes and management.
DLM sessions help:

  • to tidy picture of the situation in the company,
  • reduce resistance in the face of change,
  • increase motivation team and management,
  • give the transformation a clear and real meaning course of action.

The result is greater transparency, efficiency and energy for making decisions and implementing solutions.

Arrangement and systematizing the company's image

  • Analyze companies from an external perspective (company map, assessment of satisfaction, efficiency and level of modernity).

Detailed and personalized digital maturity assessment your company

  • Competence assessment and attitudes towards digitalization and artificial intelligence.
  • Identification key resources, strengths and successes to date.
  • Understanding that modern technologies can be implement effectively, without being their creator.

Precise definition purpose of transformation

  • Transforming a general feeling of dissatisfaction into a clearly defined, measurable result.
  • Close connection between the goal and business realities and the owner's key values, e.g. implementing an AI tool that allows for reducing customer service time by 30%.

Strengthening motivation and decision-making processes

  • Developing a clear vision and fully utilizing available resources.
  • Realizing that the first step can be taken immediately.
  • Increased confidence and consistency in making business decisions.

Discovering a mission – personal and business

  • Integration strategic goals enterprises with the values ​​of the manager.
  • The precise wording "what for”, which becomes clear to both the team and customers.
  • Creating a coherent digital transformation mission, giving meaning and direction to the entire process.

How does the DLM/Executive Coaching process work?

  • Two individual sessions (1,5 hours each) led by an experienced expert and business coach.
  • Working exclusively on real challenges and problems reported by the entrepreneur.
  • Creating a company map, defining the goal, action plan and coherent mission.
  • Between sessions: short tasks and contact opportunities.
  • Format: online or in-person (in selected cities in the region).

Effects for the entrepreneur

  • Awareness of the company's situation and the potential for change.
  • A clearly defined first step and a realistic goal.
  • Greater motivation in the team and less resistance to new solutions.
  • Strengthened role of the manager in the digital transformation process.
  • A sense of direction that can be clearly communicated to employees and customers.

DLM sessions are the foundation of the WAMA EDIH program – without this stage, the digital transformation will not be complete.
